Mike McFerren graduated in 1983 from Clarion State College.  He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in marketing and management.  He began his career in industrial sales in 1984 with FMC Corporation.  Since then he has served in nearly every capacity in sales, sales management, marketing management, and division management holding positions with full strategic and profit responsibilities.  His experience includes work in manufacturing, distribution, and service companies, sales of capital products, MRO products, and services, selling direct to end users, to OEM and engineering firms, and through distribution.
 
Mr. McFerren has served in management since 1989.  He is considered to be “results oriented” and is recognized for his ability and dedication to developing people, helping them get results, and increasing their contribution to their company. 

His marketing education, field experience, and experience in profit and loss responsibility make Mr. McFerren’s insight unique for a training program but practical and do-able.  The approaches and tools he has developed are simple but effective, emphasizing “enough theory to be sound in principle and plenty of action to be effective”.  His enthusiasm is contagious.
 
Mr. McFerren teaches every class.  Every aspect of INDUSTRIAL SELLING SKILLS, the sales training, the product management workshop, and the consulting services, have been developed based on training that he had  wanted to source for his company. 
Mr. McFerren lives in the Atlanta area.  He is married with three children.
